We visited my sister and her boyfriend in Amsterdam for the May bank holiday weekend. It happened to be the hottest day on record; 30 degrees on the Saturday! I know to my family in Australia that is nothing in comparison to what they experience, but after a cold winter in Britain it's definitely considered hot for us. Please be aware we are not complaining at all. Bring on the hot summery days!
