Sensational Butterflies

A visit to the Natural History Museum to see the Sensational Butterflies attraction. We saw different species of butterfly from Central and South America, Africa and Asia. The caterpillars were so tiny they were easily missed if you weren't paying close attention. One butterfly, I believe a Malabar tree-nymph, also called a paper kite,  was exploring the footpath, which was dangerous with so many people walking about. My husband managed to protect it by letting it climb on his hand and returning it to it's rightful place. That small gesture made me realise how fragile and delicate these creatures are.
