You can imagine having a young child means having your favourite dance shoes put away in the back of the cupboard. We do miss the scene, but at the same time don't. I do miss listening to good music and talking crap till the wee hours at a good house party. So when the opportunity came up to attend a family rave for Mother's Day in Vauxhall's Fire and Lightbox, thanks to Big Fish Little Fish, of course we jumped at the opportunity. It was a shock going into the place seeing it all lit up, music at a manageable level and clean! Quite the opposite to when I was last there many moons ago. We generally had a good time and good to know we still enjoy a "night out". My dancing shoes might be old and rusty, but they've still got it.
